Plasma Skin Tightening

I am one of very few plasma specialists in Gloucester. Having been practicing plasma for 4 years. I have a wealth of knowledge and experience in this complex & new treatment to hit the beauty sector.

What Is Plasma?

Plasma is the process of removing loose skin by sublimation. Sublimation takes a solid & turns it into a gas without going through the liquid stage. Meaning that we can safely remove small areas of skin that is loose and sagging and makes us age. As well as having a deeper & more lasting solution for the age process and skin rejuvenation.

Plasma is the closest treatment of removing skin without going under the knife. It is less invasive than cosmetic surgery yet gives amazing results.

As everyone's skin is different, the amount of sessions required to fully remove the unwanted saggy skin will depend on the age of the skin itself and the expectations of yourself. What one person sees as enough! might not be the same as another person. For this reason please be aware that more sessions might be required.

Is Plasma Safe?

Yes plasma is very safe as long as you are a candidate for the treatment, which will be discussed at the consultation.

Does Plasma Hurt?

Before your treatment a numbing cream is applied to the skin to minimise any discomfort. Some people do feel it in certain areas, usually more cream is applied to that area to ease any discomfort present.

Is There Down Time?

Yes there is definitely down time. It is advised to book your treatments when you know you do not need to go anywhere for 7 - 10 days.

Depending on the area to be treated there may be swelling, in particular the eye area will present with a lot of swelling for approximately 3-5 days. It is advisable to not drive during this time.

You will also have carbon scabs on the skin all over the treated area, these will remain on the skin for 7 - 10 days, the longer they are on the skin the better.

When Is The Best Time To Book A Treatment?

All things considered the best time to book in your plasma is autumn / winter & early spring.

Do I Need Pre & Post Care Products?

Yes! For the best results & to protect your skin you will need to follow a pre & post care plan. This involves supplementation as well as an SPF to protect the skin & prevent pigmentation issues later on. This will be explained to you at your consultation. You will also be advised on a further treatment plan that includes a course of micro-needling and skin peels 3-4 months after as this will yield even better more long lasting results.

The pre & post care items and treatment plan are separate to the plasma treatment cost.
